What Is Happening? The first recorded war within Sumer, classified now as an Iraqi area, was fought in a city of Basra in 2700 B.C. Between 274 – 271 BC saw Syria’s first war between Ptolemy II and Antioch-us I. From the history books as well as religious texts it is evident that there have been many conflict and battles throughout the globe. Why is this still affecting us today?

Who We Are?What began as a thought for a school project has manifested into a non-profitable organisation keen to help children in conflict zones. We aim to provide aid and facilities to children who are being affected in specific region; the Middle East is only one example of the many places we want to help. Currently there is no school for half a million children in Northern Iraq. Why should we help?

How Could You Help?Whatever aid is provided it it is financial, emotional, physical or spiritual assistance; every single person can make a difference. The Save the Children Iraq Director, Tina Yu, stated that "These children have fled horrible violence and are living in extremely difficult conditions; it's essential that we give them some form of normality". What assistance can you provide?

Creating AwarenessOrganisations thrive on awareness which could not be done without protests, Facebook pages, conferences, trending hash tags etc. We are all so lucky to be given our own rights for the Freedom of speech, although many are oppressed and unable to express it. We should give a voice for the voiceless and provide hope for the hopeless. Why is awareness so important?
